DFNE 2021 Conference

20-23 June 2021, Rescheduled

The Third International Discrete Fracture Network Engineering (DFNE) Conference, which would have been held on 20-23 June 2021 in conjunction with the 55th U.S. Rock Mechanics / Geomechanics Symposium in Houston, Texas, has been rescheduled, following the transition of the symposium to a virtual format. Authors of accepted papers for DFNE 2021 will have the option to present either online during special DFNE sessions at the virtual symposium or in person during the DFNE 2022 conference, which will take place on 29 June – 1 July 2022 in conjunction with the 56th U.S. Rock Mechanics / Geomechanics Symposium in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Third DFNE Conference will present the important advances that have occurred since the second conference in 2018, as DFNE approaches are broadly applied in engineering, geology, and geophysics, providing practical solutions for rock mass characterization, geomechanics, and fluid flow and transport. Additional details and all future updates will be posted on the DFNE website as they become available.
